Sunday Showings ("we," "us," "our," operating this site at sundayshowings.com) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit the "Talk to a Realtor" form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, and any message you include. When you build a tour, we store the open houses you've selected in your browser session and, if you save a tour, in our database under a unique tour link.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically log standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring page. We also record certain in-site interactions (for example, which listings you view or add to a tour) to understand how the tool is used and to improve it. If you have an account, we keep a record of sign-ins (including failed attempts) and the activity on your account, along with the IP address and device used, for security, support and to improve the service. We keep this record for up to 12 months.

Your location, only if you choose to share it. When you visit, we may ask whether you'd like to share your location. If you say yes (and allow it in your browser), we use it to show open houses near you and as the starting point for your tour. It's kept in your browser and in a cookie on your device for up to 12 hours, and it's included with a tour only if you build one from your current location. You can always type an address instead, and you can turn location access off in your browser settings at any time.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage and session identifiers) to keep your tour selections while you browse, remember basic preferences, and measure site usage through analytics tools described below. When you first visit, we ask you to accept or decline cookies. If you decline, we still use the cookies the site needs to work (like keeping your tour list), but analytics cookies stay off and ads are not personalized. To change your choice, clear this site's cookies in your browser and you'll be asked again. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features, like building a tour, may not work correctly without them.

Third-party services we use

• Google Analytics — helps us understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns. Google may set its own cookies and process data under its own privacy policy. You can learn more or opt out at policies.google.com/privacy and Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Google reCAPTCHA — protects our sign-up forms from spam and abuse. It collects hardware and software information (such as device and browser data) and sends it to Google for analysis, under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Google AdSense — where active, displays advertising on this site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — our hosting provider processes data as necessary to operate the site and does not use it for its own marketing purposes.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the site, respond to Realtor-help requests you submit (including forwarding your request to a participating local Realtor or sponsor when applicable), understand how visitors use the tour-planning tool, and, where enabled, support advertising on the site.

Sharing your information

Realtor requests. Information you submit through the "Request a Realtor" form is shared with the Realtor or brokerage that sponsors the area of your search or tour, so they can respond to your request.

Open house sign-in. If you sign in at an open house by scanning a Realtor's Sunday Showings QR code, the name, email, phone number and agent details you enter are shared with that Realtor, who may contact you if you agreed to it on the sign-in form. That Realtor can also see that the home is on your tour.

Your Realtor's view of your activity. If you plan a tour through a Realtor's link or sign in at their open house, that Realtor can see your tours, saved homes and saved searches on Sunday Showings. Your email and phone number are shown to them only if "A local Realtor can contact me" is on, or you agreed on a sign-in form.

Realtor contact. If you have an account and have left "A local Realtor can contact me" turned on, we may share your name and contact information with a local Realtor so they can help with your home search.

Home-service partners. If you have an account, we may share your name and contact information with home-service companies we work with (such as movers, home inspectors, lenders, insurance providers and contractors), who may contact you about their services. We may receive compensation for this, which some state laws treat as a "sale" of personal data. You can opt out anytime under Contact preferences on your account page or by emailing us.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified data, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

Your choices

You can turn Realtor contact and home-service sharing on or off anytime under Contact preferences on your account page. You can decline to submit the "Request a Realtor" form if you do not want to share your contact information. You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized advertising and analytics tracking using the links above. To ask about or request deletion of information you've submitted to us, contact us using the details below.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
