About

Sunday Showings

A free way to see every open house in DFW this weekend — and the fastest route between the ones you want to walk through.

What it is

Open houses are the easiest way to actually stand in a home before you decide anything, but finding them means digging through listing sites one at a time. Sunday Showings pulls every open house in Dallas–Fort Worth from the MLS, puts them on one map, and lets you pick the ones you like. Build My Tour then orders them by drive time and open-house hours so a Sunday afternoon covers five homes instead of two.

It's free for buyers and always will be. When you want someone on your side — a private showing, an offer, a second opinion on price — a local Realtor is one tap away, and you choose whether to talk to them.

Where the data comes from

Open houses, prices, photos and details come straight from the NTREIS feed Realtors use, refreshed through the day, so what you see is what's actually open. Home values on the Home Value page come from recent nearby sales and listings in that feed plus county appraisal-district records; mortgage rates are Freddie Mac's weekly survey. Listings carry the brokerage that holds them, and we show each one the way the MLS asks us to.

The guides

The guides are written from going to a lot of open houses in North Texas — what to bring, how to read a house in fifteen minutes, what to ask the host, how to see several in one afternoon — and the weekend picks are rebuilt from the live data every Thursday through Sunday.
