About this home

Love the idea of coming home to a place where you can slow down, get your hands a little dirty, gather fresh eggs, and finally have room for all those projects you’ve been dreaming about? Welcome to your homesteader’s paradise, tucked away in a neighborhood where neighbors know one another, lend a hand, and make a place feel a little more like the ones we remember growing up in. Set on 1.4 acres, this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home offers 2,024 square feet with room to spread out, while vaulted ceilings give the living room an airy feel. On cooler evenings, light a fire in the wood-burning fireplace and settle in. Out back, an oversized covered patio is the perfect spot to unwind and watch the girls (the feathered kind) run around the fully fenced yard. The outdoor spaces have a personality all their own, with a garden, the aptly named Poultry Palace, and multiple storage sheds. The shop is wired with electricity, giving you a dedicated space to tinker, create, and work on whatever comes next. It could even be used for additional parking if needed. When you’re ready to venture out, Lavon Lake is just two miles away, with boating, hiking, and horseback riding to enjoy. Whether you’re growing your own vegetables, raising chickens, working on your next project, or simply making room for the things you love, there’s space here to make it your own. Come, put down some roots, and stay awhile.
